This was Giovanni's bedroom in the United States. He had many toys in this room. We have some new games here for you
and hope to send them to you so you will have a lot to do while in Italy. The games are: Scrabble, Horseopoly, Georgia Techopoly,
and Bulldawgopoly. There are a few new dolls for Carmen.

Hi, Giovanni and Carmen,
How are you doing? I am still here in Atlanta waiting for your return to the United States. I
haven't given up and expect to triumph upon your return to Atlanta.
I look forward to speaking to you tomorrow on the telephone. I and the rest of your family in

Dear Giovanni and Carmen,
How are you doing? Are you working hard in school?
Francesca and I are currently at Borders Bookstore where we are working with our new wireless computer. Francesca is
trying to write a memoir of her first sixteen years. She seems to be having a great time on the other computer.
The weather is dark and cold today, but we know spring will soon be here. We have been fortunate to be able to have a
fairly warm winter, so we can't complain about the weather this past year.
We hope you continue to find our Web site and that you have seen the beautiful calendar we made. Mamma has all of Carmen's
art portfolio! We intend to use it to make a calendar by Carmen Lydia Villa, a great, young artist with much potential!
We miss you very much and look forward to the day when you will be back in the United States of America! Mamma will help
you with your studies here, and you will have all the great, cultural advantages of the State of Georgia!

Dear Giovanni and Carmen,
Francesca and Mamma miss you very much! We hope you also think about us from time to time and that we will get to see
one another soon. Check this Web site regularly to keep up with our news if you can't exchange e-mails.
How is the weather in Fiuggi? We imagine that by now (Dec.) it is very cold and that there has been a lot of snow. The
weather is still quite warm in Georgia, but Francesca wouldn't mind some snow.
We hope you are enjoying these photos. You both look very nice in them. We will try to add more photos in the near future.
How is school? We hope you are studying as diligently as Francesca. We hope you are reading many books because there's
much to be learned from good books, especially fiction. I'm glad Giovanni is reading I Promessi Sposi by Manzoni. I
would also recommend The Scarlet Letter, Wuthering Heights, and Les Miserables.
Don't forget to write us! We love you very much. By the way, Grandma says hello and sends you a kiss!
